Valentine’s season usually shows up with heart-shaped balloons, red backdrops, and themed mini sessions. But this year, I wanted to do something different - something more meaningful, more timeless, and more you.
That’s how Love, Actually was born.
Love, Actually is a limited-time in-studio portrait experience designed to celebrate love in all its forms. Not just romantic love, but the love you have for your kids, your partner, your dog, and yourself. It’s about documenting this season of your life exactly as it is right now - beautifully, honestly, and without gimmicks.
These are not themed Valentine’s photos. There are no props or holiday backdrops. Instead, we focus on what matters most: connection, confidence, and telling your story through clean, modern, and classic studio portraits.
Every Love, Actually session is thoughtfully curated around you.
Some clients come in wanting something soft and cozy - sweaters, bare feet, gentle light, and quiet moments with their kids or their dog curled up beside them. Others come in ready to step into their confidence - bold outfits, strong eye contact, and a “this is my era” kind of energy. And some want something a little more intimate and playful, elevated, tasteful, and quietly sexy.
All of it belongs here.
Whether you’re bringing your children, your partner, your pup, or just yourself, the goal is the same: to create portraits that feel like you in this season of life.
And don’t worry. You don’t have to know how to pose or what to do in front of the camera. I guide you through everything, from how to stand and where to put your hands to how to relax into the moment so your images feel natural and real.
Love, Actually sessions are perfect for:
• Moms who want beautiful photos with their kids
• Women who are ready to do something just for themselves
• Couples who want something more than a phone selfie
• Teens and seniors who want modern, meaningful portraits
• Dog moms who know their pup is part of the family
• Anyone who wants to feel seen and celebrated
There’s no age limit. No “right” reason to book. If it matters to you, it belongs in the frame.
Valentine’s season is really about connection and that doesn’t just mean romantic love. It’s a reminder to slow down and celebrate the people (and pets) who make your life full.
Love, Actually is your chance to press pause and capture this moment, before your kids grow, before your dog’s muzzle turns gray, before this version of you changes into something new.
Because these seasons don’t last forever, but photographs do.
As a photographer, I’ve spent years watching people step in front of the camera feeling nervous, unsure, or convinced they’re not photogenic and then watching them leave feeling confident, seen, and surprised by how beautiful they look.
That’s what Love, Actually is really about.
It’s not about Valentine’s Day.
It’s about love.
And you are worthy of being photographed in it.
If this feels like your moment, I would love to create something beautiful with you.
