When did you start dancing?

I started dancing when I was three years old.

What is your first memory of dancing?

My first memory of dancing was when I danced to the song “You Are My Sunshine” and we had to skip in a circle.

What is your favorite style of dance? Why?

My favorite style of dance is contemporary because it allows me to feel any emotion.

If you could dance anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I would dance at the Bolshoi Theatre in Russia.

What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?

I love chocolate ice cream!

What is your favorite moment while dancing?

When you are so nervous to go on stage but the second you get out there, all of your nerves disappear.

Who is your hero? Why?

My mom is my hero. She is so willing to dive head first into a new adventure. She knows what to say at all times and is so resourceful in any situation!

What is your favorite style of music to dance to?

I love dancing to sad and kinda spooky music. It allows me to put myself into a character.

What is your favorite style of music while you are relaxing or driving in the car?

Really any music that matched my mood that day but I can always listen to Dermot Kennedy.

When you think of dancing, how do you feel?

It makes me feel happy to know that I have an opportunity to show others my passion.

While dancing, how do you feel?

I always feel so free when dancing, like all of my worries disappear.

How many hours a week do you practice?

Typically in the school year, it’s between 13-15 hours a week and in the summer it’s closer to 14 hours a week.

What is your go to after dance treat?

I love to have popcorn with M&M’s in it.

What was your experience like while having your photoshoot with Kate?

It was so fun shooting with Kate! She is so open to trying all my crazy ideas!
