From Big City Stages to a Small-Town Studio
Before photography, I worked as a stage manager in NYC and Milwaukee, where I learned how to manage chaos, stay ten steps ahead, and keep the creative energy flowing. That backstage mindset still drives how I work today: organized, encouraging, and always focused on the bigger picture (and the tiny details).

Life Beyond the Lens
When I’m not behind the camera or mic, you’ll find me out exploring the world with my man friend Tim (because “boyfriend” feels like high school and “partner” sounds like we run a hardware store). Together, we host Tim and Kate’s Excellent Adventures on YouTube, where we share our travel stories, cruise tips, packing hacks, and the occasional “what not to do” moment. Our wildly photogenic pup, Gizmo, tends to steal the spotlight wherever we go.
