Each month, Seniors Ignite challenges their members with shooting themes that can be submitted for possible publication.  In march the theme was Coachella which is a festival held in California every year.  This year there are many musical line ups that would usually not be the headliners so this was a fun challenge for the models and I to explore.  I had each participant choose an artist that would be performing at the festival this year.  All of the models chose their musical group or soloist by their style more than their music.  Actually, I don't think any of them had even heard the artist's music before and neither had I.  We studied their Instagram profiles to get more of a feel for their style and I also listened to each artist on Youtube.
